    Priest Builds, For 4.0.1 - 4.0.3a

    The following are priest builds for 4.0.1-4.0.3a, these are level 80 priest talent builds made before the release of cataclysm. Most people will want to use the Priest Cataclysm Builds.

     

    Priest Builds, For Patch 4.0.1-4.0.3a

    With the 4.0.1 patch the talents changed a lot. There is less points to spend and the trees are no longer as big. Another major change is that you have to fill whatever tree you are specializing in before you can select a different tree to put some points in, so you can no longer create hybrid builds. The glyph system changed as well to add primary glyphs to the game, resulting in 9 glyphs you can now use in total.

    Vampiric Touch, Devouring Plauge and Shadow Word Pain, keep these up on target.

    Use Mind Blast and Shadow Word Death(SWD) whenever posible.

    If your HP is getting too low from casting SWD then swith to Mind Flay.
